Kosta A.-Monk is a musician who has lived in Athens and Frankfurt and has been on stage and in the studio with many welknown musicians and bands of the indipendant sceene of both citys. In 1997 he composed the music for the film ''Medusa'' of the director George Lasopoulos which was awarded with the third price in Huston Texas' film festival. ''Indeed'' is the title of the first personal release of the fourty five year old artist. Based on a core of highly and multi influenced musicians, Assi Kondylidou (Piano, Keuboard), Stamatis Houliaras (Bass, Backing vocals) and Platon Mouseos (Drums) with the addition of various participations of good friends and great musicians*, this album comes with an original, different and totaly personal style of sound. Mixing musical elements, atmospheric impressions and landscapes of two condinents (Europe and America), essential sound pluralism, musical depth and maturity, the Athenian songwriter follows the path carved and luminated by great musicians such as Nick Cave, Bob Dylan, David Bowie making an effort to carve his own path. ''Indeed'' is that kind of a record which provokes to a calm eshoteric wandering. A release which consist of eight songs musicaly constracted by ingediands of different origin, rising up in natural sequence one after the other from a deeply stractured entity. A musical album fully containing the smelling of pine trees, the evening breeze of the Greek islands, the American desert dust and the diesel fuel of the Europian highwaus... -ANAZITISI MOOD-
